For a blog post or case study, usually within one week of getting an assignment (or interviewing a subject matter expert/customer, if that’s required). For eBooks, it depends on the complexity and amount of primary research but 2-3 weeks is common.

Not much. I’ve had clients ask me to write something based on two or three bullet points. But I can work with a very detailed brief too. I’ve also helped clients develop their brief or outline with me, at no extra charge.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 π’šπ’π’–π’“ π’‰π’π’–π’“π’π’š 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆?
I tend not to use one, because there’s no point in charging an hour for minor revisions. Instead I have a rate card that gives you a general ballpark of what I charge for different kinds of assets. Clients tell me they find this very easy to work with from a budgeting and billing perspective.
